Swaziland
Description
The small Kingdom of Swaziland, is landlocked and largely surrounded by South Africa, only bordering on Mozambique in the east. Main mountain range are the Lubombo mountains along the border with Mozambique.
Several Swaziland national parks offer good possibilities for self-guided hiking. The mountainous so-called 'highveld' Malolotja National Park in the northwest of the country has long distance trails with camping en route, along some 200 km of trails. Shorter trails are found in several other reserves and parks, such as Mlawula Nature Reserve up the Lubombo mountains, and in Mantenga Nature Reserve.
