Tafjordfjell
Description
Tafjordfjell, in the west of Norway, offers a variety of landscapes: fjords, steep mountains and open plateaus. The area combines the alpine character of Sunnmøre with the more levelled highlands of the east. In the west, the trails start where the fjords, running deep inland here, end.
This mountain region is well serviced with huts. Exploring the region will keep you busy for a week at least. Starting from the Geiranger fjord, you can walk up to Kaldhusseter and Reindalseter and eventually make a round tour returning to the road you started from.
