Via Arvernia / Arverna, Clermont-Ferrand - Cahors, 300 km, 12 days
Based on ancient documents, the Via Arvernia reconstructs a pilgrim route to Santiago de Compostela in Spain. From Clermont-Ferrand, pilgrims walk southwest over the plateau of the Auvergne with its volcanoes. This Way of St. James ends in Cahors. Here, pilgrims continue on the Via Podiensis / GR65, coming from Le Puy-en-Velay.
