Galloping Goose Regional Trail

Leechtown – Victoria, 55 km

This trail uses a former railway. The machine who rode the rails in the 1920's, was nicknamed Galloping Goose. Now it is a multi-use rail trail for hiking, running, cycling, skateboarding, horse riding, but not for motorized access.

The path is located on Vancouver Island, West Coast, British Columbia. It is mostly paved. The scenery is varied, include urban, rural and wilderness sceneray. You might spot a restored train station as well. Last thing to mention: the trail is part of the Trans Canada Trail.
