The beloved Alpine region of Vanoise borders on Italy. On the Italian side is located the other well known Alpine valleys, Gran Paradiso.
It is possible to combine the GR5 and GR55 making a circular tour of one week. This tour offers great views on the glaciers of the Vanoise massif.
