The Jomolhari Trek appears to be the most popular trek in Bhutan. It reaches an altitude of almost 5000 m and passes through a wide diversity of landscapes. The trek starts from Drugkyel Dzong near Paro in the west of Bhutan. Then there are two options:
Jomolhari I: a 9-day trek ending in Dodena near Thimphu
Jomolhari II: an 8-day trek returning in Dugkyel Dzong near Paro
