Kanto

Description

Kanto, Tokyo

関東地方

The Tokyo Region is popular with foreign tourists, and here are some very fine hiking destinations within reach of one day. Kanto encompasses the Greater Tokyo Area. Most of the region is flat, but the region borders on the mountainous prefectures in Chubu and Tohoku.

The Metropolitan Nature Trail (or Kanto Nature Trail), crisscrosses through the region.
