Lingen (Ems) – Bad Rothenfelde, 170 km, 8 days
The Ems, Hase, Hunte and Else are all small rivers. The Northwest of Germany is a flat and open country, but in the end the low plains hit the wooden hills that are characteristic for most of the country. This is the Teutoburgerwald, and here this trail takes off. Further east is another hilly area, the Wiehengebirge. The path encircles Osnabrück and it ends in the town of Bad Rothenfelde.
This quiet hike takes you through wooded hills and rolling farmland.
