Schwarzwald Nordrand Weg, Mühlacker - Durlach, 56 km, 3 days

This short path runs slightly north of the Black Forest. Forests and fields alternate. Halfway, one enters Pforzheim, gateway to the Black Forest. In the western part of this Schwarzwald Nordrandweg, the views increase: the Black Forest in the south, the Vosges mountains in the west, and the Pfälzerwald in the north. The endpoint, Durlach, is near Karlsruhe, and beyond one will see the glistening Rhine.
