Description

Region in southeast Wales. The name also refers to the very old and extensive forest in this region, composed of mixed woods. Offa's Dyke Path traverses the forest.

  • Positive Best part is along Wye valley with some beautiful walks, (Offas Dyke and Wye valley paths) much of it through woodland, with views down the valley, plus historic sights such as Tintern Abbey. You can watch the peregrine falcons which nest at Symonds Yat rock.
