High Weald

Description

The High Weald is the upper part of the Weald, the area stretching between the North Downs and South Downs. The Downs are well known for their beauty and great walking. The Weald less so, but this is not justified by the nature of the area. Especially the High Weald is fine for walking: woodlands, rolling hills with a patchwork of small fields, isolated farmsteads.
