The Liberty Trail, named after the Monmouth Rebellion in the year 1685, is a path in South Somerset. This walk of 28 miles, 45 km, starts on the chalk coast of southern England, in the town of Lyme Regis,. Ammonites - fossils - are here for the taking. The walk ends at a gigantic Iron Age fortress called Ham Hill. From here you can continue on the Leland Trail.
