Renous – Astle, 87 km, 4 days

This multi-use trail is constructed on an abandoned rail line, passing mainly through forests, some fields, and sometimes in view of the Miramichi River. The rough gravel makes it suitable for mountain bikers and hikers. The current trail will be extended to run between Fredericton and Miramichi, 200 km. Lodging is available in the villages along the trail.
