The Dutch Confraternity of Saint James recently compiled a list of pilgrims’ ways in The Netherlands. The Jacobsweg Die Haghe is a coastal route, connecting two important cities and cathedrals: Haarlem and Brugge. The Way visits several cities. It does not follow the coastline as the North Sea Trail does, but instead strings together important religious places.
In Vlissingen or in Sluis one has the option to head for Gent instead of continuing to Brugge.
In Gent the pilgrim can continue on the Via Scaldea and on to Paris. In Brugge the Via Brugensis connects to the routes to Paris.
