Camino de Santiago de Levante, Valencia / Cartagena, 725 km, 22 days
For the real die-hards this is a pilgrim way through the hot central plains of Spain, hot year round except in winter. Moreover, you will walk on roads for miles. The Camino de Levante starts in Valencia and joins the Via de la Plata in Zamora. Alternatively, you can start in Cartagena. The Way runs south of Madrid. If you like some shadow or want to meet trees other than olive trees, this is not your way.
